since this is a new type of role play, this post shall be very long and detailed.
first is what the genders are called. the males are bucks, the females are does, and the young rabbits are called either kits or kittens.
next are the ranks.
Chief: the ruler of the Warren. he gives all the orders and stays in power until he dies. the most trusted Owlsa Captain will be the next Chief. it is said that prince El-Ahrairah takes dead Chiefs to his Owsla.
the Owlsa: they are the police force of the Warren. they are clever, strong rabbits. there are two semi classes. they are the captains who take orders directly from the Chief and make sure they are carried out, and the officers who carry out orders given by the Captain or Captains. there can be only up to two Captains in a warren at any given time but there can be one Officer for every 9 regular rabbits.
Seers: there can be only be one seer for both genders at the start. they can tell the future though visions. a seer's kitten has a 50% chance of being a seer as well if the mate is normal. however, if the female and male seers breed, it is a 100% chance. (also, plz do not pretend of mate on animal jam. instead imply that you bred.)
felseli: regular Bucks and does.
Hutch rabbits: rabbits that are owned by humans and are put in a cage called a hutch.
story tellers: these rabbits tell stories about their robin hood like hero called El-ahrairah and how he outwitted many things.
now here is some help with the names, looks, and den.
first are the names, unlike the warrior cats role plays which have names like foresteyes, hawkteeth, cloudheart, dewleaf ect. we have instead single names that are about anything in nature but can be something else (for example, Fiver is named after a term for five pounds) here are some name ideas.

i used mostly herbs for this list but there are also a few other things like trees and flowers and other plants. also, gender does not matter for these names so you can call a male rabbit Violet. also, feel free to look at other names not on here by looking online or reading a plant book.
next is the look. use natural colors and a rabbit. if you are playing a kitten, then make the real charater a pet. for non members do a joey and members can use the bunny pet. the animal bunny must be all black, being the 'shadow' of the 'kitten'. don't add weapons to your bunny or fox hats. anything else is okay.
and here is a good example of a rabbit.
also don't add any 'human items' like pink purses, backpacks ect. also spiked collars and wristbands are not allowed unless they are either a officer, captain, or chief of a type of Warren. (which is below)
now last is your den. if you are member, choose the bunny burrow. but for non members, you can turn a small house den into a burrow.
For non members: put anything that is dirt, rock, or cave related into the house it'self but don't have the rocks have moss or anything on it that is green unless it is on the very top. the rest of the area can be decorated with plants, bushes, flowers and trees. also you can use a rain cloud and a mira fountain in the den if you have them. also if you have some wall vines and/or beehives you can hang them up at the door way to the 'burrow/warren'
for members: use any plant, tree, bush, and flower outside the burrow. inside, you can put any cave, dirt, rock, and anything else that gives the impression of a burrow. you can make an area to store food from raids that payed, a area for the kittens, and an area for the chief. i would say to put the storing area at the top floor of the burrow underground, the kitten area in the middle, and the Chief area in the bottom.
now we have the food, reaction to danger, and myths of the rabbit world.
unlike cats, rabbits don't eat animals. and they don't eat that many carrots as you would think. they in fact only get carrots and lettuce from gardens. they mostly eat grass and other plants that they can get.
when they are in danger rabbits will run away from danger or trick the attacker. they very rarely attack. but when they do, they use their teeth.
now here are some characters that the rabbits believe in.
El-ahrairah: a brown rabbit with shining ears and a tail given to him by the black rabbit of inde as replacements for his old ones which he lost durring a bet. he is the leader of the rabbits and is also known as 'the prince of a thousand enemies'. he often tricks his enemies to get things that he needs for his people to prosper.
Lord Frith: if El-ahrairah is rabbit Jesus and batman at the same time, then Lord Frith is the Rabbit god. he gave all the animals gifts. an example is the cat, who was given sharp teeth, claws, good eyesight, and very good jumping skills as well as the desire to eat rabbit. but he also gave the rabbits their powers as well. he told the rabbits that if they use their gifts wisely, they should live.
Prince Rainbow: he is the helper to Lord Frith. he hates rabbits and he hates El-ahrairah. he however, keeps dares given to him.
Rabscuttle: a dirty-blonde rabbit who is El-ahrairah's side-kick. he will help him though everything.
King Darzin: this guy is a king who rules over a kingdom of animals. he also hates the rabbits, but even more.
The black rabbit of Inle: this rabbit is the grim reaper of the rabbit world. all rabbits besides Chiefs go with him after death.
now we have few types of warrens which are all ruled diffrently. the types are are named after the Chief who had this type of Warren in their control.
Woundwort warren: this type of warren is very strict. the chief often goes to war with other warrens. regular rabbits are treated like slaves. the warren itself is very small and has many rabbits. the chief, captains, and officers are often black, dark grey, or dark brown. Spikes can often be seen worn by the rabbits here.
Hazel warren: this type of warren treats all rabbits like equals. when explanding the warren, everyone pitches in. everyone has a role here and there is no class system in place unlike most of the other warrens. the warren is often big with many rabbits living in it.
Threarah warren: a warren with a class system in place. there is nothing odd about the warren.
Cowslip warren: a very odd warren that is in fact owned by humans. you see, for good food the farmers were allowed to catch a rabbit in a snare sometimes. rabbits embrace death here.
what are rabbit's enemies: every single animal that eats meat. that includes cats, dogs, wolves, owls, hawks, eagles, foxes, badgers, humans ect. unlike the cat role players who only have to worry about dogs, other cats, and humans. this shows that rabbits need to be on their toes and avoid danger.
are these animals frendly with other animals?: yes. in the books, the watership down rabbits became friends with a mouse and a bird. this means that they CAN become friends with other plant eaters. this goes for vegans as well if they existed.
can these animals become the next cats?: this could happen but only if many people roleplay as rabbits.
